September 2026
- Am about to start teaching the EBPhD methods seminar on computational reproducibility at the University of Zurich.
- Was on holiday in Slovenia (5–14 Sep), with lots of gravel biking. 🚴
- We uploaded the revised version of our CORTRE Registered Report (currently pending moderation) and will resubmit it to PCI Registered Report.
August 2026
- Attended the MSMR in Zurich (31 Aug – 1 Sep).
- Was an instructor at the Meta-Science Summer School near Frankfurt (24 – 28 Aug).
- We submitted the first milestone of the INSPECT project (15 Aug).
- Was interviewed for a Nature career feature on lotteries in research funding: When the best decision is no decision: the rise of randomization in grant funding (11 Aug).
July 2026
- Together with my CoARA working group colleagues F. Schönbrodt, K. A. Nawrot and D. Crepaldi, we published a poster and booklet on The structure and formative dimensions of research excellence.
- Our EU WIDERA application, which I coordinated, was not funded. A big bummer, but on to the next one!
June 2026
- I attended the final iRISE General Assembly in Split (end of June) and the iRISE WP5 Synthesis Event in Nijmegen (beginning of June).
