Currently, I am involved in two larger and funded projects:

iRISE: improving Reproducibility In SciencE

The aim of iRISE is to understand the drivers of irreproducibility, and present and test specific interventions to increase the quality, reliability and reusability of scientific evidence. iRISE is a Horizon Europe consortium.

SIRRO: Strengthen the interoperability and reusability of research outputs

SIRRO is a collaborative project by the Swiss Reproducibility project funded by swissuniversity Swiss Open Research Data Grants program Track A, August 2022.

Transparency and reprodcibility

Heterogeneity in replication projects

Using methodology from meta-analysis the project aims at quantifying and explaining the amount of heterogeneity in two different use cases.

SADAR: Study of Authors’ Data Availability Responses

The goal of the study is to scrutinize the data and code availability statements from published literatute.

Quantifying replication success

Through the Center for Reproducible Science I also got the chance to collaborate on projects related to quantifying or assessing replication success.

Rethinking the research funding allocation process

I am interested in improving the way research funding is allocated to researchers or research projects. More specifically, I aim at finding ways to acknowledge uncertainty in funding allocations.

PRECHECK: A checklist to evaluate COVID-19 preprints

The aim of the project is to provide simple and clear guidance in the form of a checklist as well as by training to assess the quality and credibility of a scientific preprint.
